“The yoga retreat day was very welcoming. A well planned day which offered an experience of different yoga sessions such as Hatha yoga and Yoga Nidra. The yoga philosophy session has increased my awareness and understanding of specific aspects of yoga. All sessions were tailored to benefit both mind and body through the asana practices. Excellent healthy home prepared meals were offered throughout the day. Overall, it was a very good experience that left me feeling uplifted and energised. "I have been attending Suji’s Prana Yoga classes each week, which I thoroughly enjoy, which has led to Prana Yoga holding a series of retreat days during the summer. This was the first yoga retreat... The day started at 9am and we were greeted by Suji and Samir as our yoga instructors. The first session was to awaken the energy in our body which consisted of exercises to loosen our limbs and body in readiness for the coming yoga poses. Half way through the morning we were treated to a delicious satvik breakfast which as the weather was so warm we were able to eat outside. Samir spoke about the philosophy of yoga and the benefits of doing a daily practice. Following this Suji instructed Hatha yoga giving each yogi individual attention to make sure we were in the right position for the pose. An important part of any yoga practice is how to breathe correctly and this session was led by Samir. Lunch was amazing, everything was cooked from scratch by Tosha, all the group commented on all the flavours of the dishes. The last sessions of the day were the sound bath and yoga nidra. Both of these sessions were extremely relaxing and some of the group were so relaxed they fell asleep! The yoga retreat is held in a large room, it has a warm and welcoming atmosphere where during the yoga sessions soft music plays which enhances the ambiance. If you’ve never tried yoga before this would be a lovely way to be introduced to practise. Seasoned yogis would enjoy Suji’s challenging yoga asanas. Namaste 🙏" - Claire 30th May 2026

Suji explains the asanas to the group and then will instruct us individually, into each move.
